Dickens Beach Party
85th Anniversary of Broadstairs Dickens Festival (17th-19th June)
Broadstairs and Dickens go together and this year sees the festival in his honour celebrate its 85th anniversary.
Look out for new features alongside the old - beach parties, fayre, victorian cricket match, Dickensian characters and festival play ‘A Tale of Two Cities’.

Margate Soul Festival
20th Anniversary of Margate Soul Festival (5th - 7th August)
Kents largest soul music festival, set around Margate Old Town with stunning views of the sunset over the beach, celebrates its 20th anniversary with 4 decades of top quality artists - Melba Moore, Julie McKnight, Carroll Thompson, Odyssey and Angela Ricci with Brand New Heavies, alongside some of the UK’s biggest DJ talent.
