Born and bred in South Africa, Brenda is bringing Durban hearty flavours to Margate's freshest high street.

A Mom, Dog Mum and Ouma, she is well versed in feeding the 5000; from hungry children to son-in-law’s, family, friends and friendly strangers.

Once part of the corporate commuter clan, Brenda decided to pack it all in and get back to her roots.

With a love of planting and growing, years of stew-making, potjie pots and wholesome salads, she is excited to channel her entrepreneurial skills into a fresh endeavour. Ouma welcomes you to her Kitchen!

Ouma’s Kitchen cooks fresh food each day and we are now able to welcome you in to our beautiful cafe to sit down and enjoy at your own leisure, or eat on the go.
