Burley and Field

Burley and Field is a small independent store owned by locals Craig & Richard, located in Margate Old Town.

The main focus of the shop is restyling vintage furniture to create statement one-off pieces, done at the on-site studio workshop.  

Burley and Field brings together the old and the new, taking influences from styles such as Hollywood Regency, Art Deco and the 1970s & 80s. Alongside some refinished natural wood finishes think, restored original hardware, hand painted accents and luxe decoupage designs.

Also available are a range of vintage upcycled rugs (courtesy of Katie from Northdown Rugs who has an in-store residency with us), vintage jewellery and selected gifts. 

A commission service, where we can design along with you to create a bespoke look for your piece of furniture or indeed for a made-to-measure rug is available
